Earlier benchmarks and Bluetooth SIG filings revealed some key specs for the Galaxy Tab 4. It will likely feature a 10.5-inch 2560×1600 resolution display powered by an Exynos 5420 processor and Mali-T628 GPU. We can also expect 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, rear and front cameras, and Android 4.4 KitKat.

The FCC tests show LTE and 3G versions of the tablet, with both models supporting LTE connectivity. The filings also mention a new EB-BT800FBE battery type.

While the FCC stop doesn’t tell us anything unexpected, it’s a good sign that Samsung is moving closer to an official launch. With the Galaxy Tab 4 already appearing in leaks and benchmarks, the formal announcement could be just around the corner. We’ll be keeping an eye out for more details on Samsung’s latest tablet contender.
