Hot off the rumor mill – a new 7-inch Samsung tablet has popped up, the SM-T110. Word is that 15 test units were secretly shipped to India last Saturday.

Digging into the shipment records reveals a few key details. The dimensions point to a compact 7-inch form factor – perfect for tossing in your bag.
Some tech sleuths also spotted a User Agent Profile for the T111 variant that gives up even more goods. This tablet is rocking a 1024×600 display powered by a 32-bit dual-core Cortex-A9 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz. It’s not top-of-the-line but solid specs for an affordable 7-inch.
The T111 is currently running Android 4.2, a bit dated but still capable. No doubt Samsung will optimize their latest tablet UI on top.
While full details are still under wraps, looks like Samsung is prepping another entry in their popular small tablet lineup. The 7-inch range hits a sweet spot between size and portability.
And given the modest display and processor leaks, the SM-T110 is shaping up to be a budget-friendly offering compared to the flagship Galaxy Tab S models.
More should trickle out soon as the SM-T110 moves closer to production. But for now, it seems Samsung is cooking up a new mid-range tablet contender. Could be a nice option both for consumers and enterprise use once it hits the market.
