Samsung is preparing updated versions of its Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 tablet for different global markets.

Certification filings reveal several new model numbers:
- SM-P905 – An international variant headed to Europe
- SM-P905V – A North American version
- SM-P905M – For South America
- SM-T905 – Another international model also Europe-bound
These new Tab Pros will support SIM cards and Wi-Fi connectivity. The SM-X905 and SM-T905 models will add LTE cellular data.
There is a certification for an SM-P901 in Europe, but no equivalent SM-T901 version. This suggests Samsung isn’t planning an LTE-enabled Tab Pro 12.2 for Europe at this time.
In Samsung’s naming system, “SM-X” models have LTE while “SM-P” variants lack cellular connectivity.
These certifications indicate Samsung is preparing a round of refreshed Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 tablets for multiple regions. The new versions will give buyers more connectivity options, with some getting a speed boost from LTE data.
There’s no word yet on a release date or any other hardware changes. However the filings confirm that updated Tab Pro 12.2 slates are in the pipeline for markets across the globe.
